Preparation is really tedious:

• "Green Card" International motor insurance extension
• Extended RAC Breakdown cover
• Travel Insurance - Health cover
• Ferry tickets - Judith
• Obtain Form E111 from a Post Office. (This allows you to be unwell abroad. You cannot do this without one.)
• Contact the mobile telephone company and organise "roaming" for Ireland

To Take

• Wine
• Walking boots
• Torches
• Passport (This was never inspected.)
• UK Driving Licence
• Euros €. (I think this is the first time I've actually used a € symbol!)
• Vehicle Registration Document "V5"
• Vehicle Insurance Certificate
