We're staying at "The Quarters". This building is
located near the "Marisco Tavern" and the shop.
The island is 3 miles long and half a mile wide.

This hostel consists of two long low wooden buildings, one behind the other, put up originally to house all those who carried out the programme of restoration.
The Quarters has 8 bedrooms (6 single, 2 twin),... and has a big living room and kitchen with a fine outlook towards Hartland Point.
Takes under 2 hours from the mainland. Departs Ilfracombe at 10:30 on Saturday May 27th. For the return journey, the boat arrives at 19:45pm.

cliff path to the village.
Luggage is transferred via tractor and trailer and taken to our building.
The guide raves on about the opportunities. If anyone has the kit and intends to participate in these activities, the Landmark Trust want to know as soon as possible.
.. a good selection of beer and wines. ...imaginative choice including vegetarian... reasonable cost.. or splash out on a special meal as a celebration. (Bernie's Birthday!) This is 100yds or so from "The Quarters" - staggering distance.

I have been issued with luggage labels, colour coded for The Quarters. 2
per person.

I've booked 2 doubles, 1 twin and 4 singles. The general manager is also happy to provide parking whilst we are on the island.
If the sea conditions do not permit sailing, the Landmark Trust will provide a helicopter (and pilot) for our arrival and departure. This is at no extra charge and is subject to there being one available.
