Some photographs from Jennifer's new toy...
The actual images were much clearer than
the photographs show. In particular the pond water showed the algae quite
clearly (the green specs in the photograph) as well as some paramecium which
kept swimming in and out of focus.
All of these pictures are x100. As soon as Jennifer gets some proper slides and
cover slips and stains, she can go up to x1000 with
the oil immersion lens.
Jennifer's considering a proper camera attachment for the microscope too. These
pictures were taken by simple holding the camera to the eyepiece.
