How to persuade Lightroom 2.7 to read RAW images from a Canon S95

(Newer versions of Lightroom read the S95 RAW files, but I don't like the new, slower file open user interface.)

Using Phil Harvey's exiftool www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/

run this:

exiftool -canonmodelid="PowerShot S90" X:\NGH_photos\canonS95\*.cr2

Alternatively...

Use Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter for Windows

The s95 is only supported in Camera Raw 6.3 and later.
